O'Neill & Brennan win three new logistics packages in Q2

During the Q2 period, O’Neill & Brennan were successful in winning the following tenders which are listed below. We are excited to deliver logistic packages to each of these projects and seeing how they progress. Keep an eye out for updates which we will be sharing over the upcoming months.

Black Lion House - Galliford Try

New creative office development for Whitechapel’s creative and digital business community. Refurbished office building, where the design will reposition the building and rejuvenate the inside and out to create a high quality workspace.

The scheme includes a 3 storey roof-top extension resulting in an uplift in area of approximately 2,500sqm and a new pavilion building at the rear with approximately 1,103sqm of new office space.

HMP Wellingborough - Kier

The new category C resettlement prison will be on the same site as the former HMP Wellingborough which closed in 2012 and will provide a modern facility which will create a safe and secure environment for staff and prisoners.  

The £253m project will have seven houseblocks with over 60,000m² of accommodation facilities and ancillary buildings. It will provide 1,680 resettlement prison places, with modern facilities to encourage rehabilitation among men. It will feature windows with no bars and smaller wings holding just 20 men in line with the MoJ’s commitment to building an environment conducive to rehabilitation. It is due to complete in Autumn 2021.

Britannia Leisure Centre & School - Morgan Sindall

£384m mixed-use community development, near the London city fringe. The new large three-storey leisure centre will include several swimming pools, sports halls and two rooftop tennis courts and two five-a-side pitches.
Once finished, a new academy on the site of the current Britannia Leisure Centre site and car park will be built that will cater for 900 students plus 200 six formers.
Later phases of the landmark scheme will include six residential blocks rising from four to 24 storeys containing nearly 500 flats.
